Important Information
INTRODUCTION
We thank you for your interest in our products. We would like to introduce you to the latest innovations in the Minib series of convectors:
I) A new fan assembly, comprising of a 12V direct current DC motor with extremely low electrical consumption - compared to frequently used AC motors. This means a reduction in operating costs for the convector of approx. 70 to 80%. Since January 2005 all MINIB convectors with fans designed for operation in dry or wet environments have been equipped with energy saving 12V DC motors (including convectors which may collect condensation in the drain pan). The only exception to this is convectors used for swimming pools heating, where direct contact with water is possible. Such types still use 12V AC motors, which do not consist of electronic circuits which are sensitive to water.
II) A newly developed electronic IQ MINIB regulation. This regulation includes automatic fan speed control via a microprocessor, user adjustable max. speed level, night speed reduction, selection of the operation mode by the user, disabling of fan at low water temperature and contactless, noiseless switching of the thermostat.
III) The COIL-MT-2 convector. MT-2 is a multifunctional convector which enables automatic inclination of airflow with an extremely high heat output at very low blower revolutions (at temperatures of 75/65/20 C, the convector achieves a heat output of app. 1800 W per meter length at medium speed.). Inclination of the warm airflow provides (based on the impulse from the sensor) automatic demisting of steamed up windows or the intensive heating of the room. Thanks to an arrangement of fans the convector can be used for partial cooling of the interior in the summer as the cool air is inclined and directed to the room and not vertically. The fast-acting heat exchanger reacts very quickly to changing requirements and provides optimum levels of comfort.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Stainless-steel (food-processing steel) used as a standard material for convector troughs; highly chemical-resistant stainless steel used in wet-environment convectors.
- Company's own manufacture of high-quality heat exchangers (Al finns + Cu tubes).
- Delivery of elbows to angle connection of troughs.
- Manufacture of curved convectors.
- Usage of extremely energy efficient 12V DC motors on tangential blowers. The average electric input is within the range to 5W for one meter of convector length (except swimming pool applications), which provides more than 70% saving of operating cost compared to conventional AC motors.
- Usage of only tangential blowers, which provide an equal output of heated air along the whole length of the convector.
- Maximum convector heat output up to 7kW.
- Special convectors - heating in the winter and partially cooling the interior in the summer.
- Minimum construction height of MINIB convectors 63 mm.
- Minimum construction width of MINIB convectors 106 mm.
- Minimal water volume and therefore immediate reaction to change of heating requirements.
- Manufacture of non-standard convector dimensions - e.g. length 2250mm.
- New automatic MINIB "IQ" control system - microprocessor controlled.
- The list price includes the complete equipment package.
- Delivery within 2 to 15 working days according to convector type.
- Easy cleaning of convectors thanks to stainless steel flexible connection hoses (it is necessary to lean the convector prior to the heating season).
PRICE OF THE CONVECTOR INCLUDES
- stainless steel trough design
- flexible connection hoses with stainless steel sheathing
- manual control valve and shut-off cock
- any type of aluminium or wooden grid; stainless steel grid at an extra charge
- decorative aluminium bar around the grid
- safety isolating transformers 230 / 12V
- tangential fans with safe voltage 12V (except with heating element TE)
- extremely energy efficient 12V DC motors (not for swimming pool environments)
